Swift Fuels Congratulates Shannon Russell and the Sling Pilot Academy - Setting New Altitude Record

West Lafayette, IN – Swift Fuels congratulates 21-year-old South African pilot Shannon Russell for breaking the women`s altitude record of 30,052ft set in 1939 by Jacqueline Cochran and the Sling TSi altitude record. Shannon, a member of the Sling Pilot Academy holding Commercial and Sports Pilot Instructor ratings, piloted the unpressurized Sling TSi up to 32,059 feet. The 3.6 hours flight was conducted exclusively on Swift Fuels UL94 unleaded avgas.
